Your coach is also your examiner — what you fix in the lesson is exactly what gets judged in the test. Coach Arai leads the two-day Chinese courses.
For the 1-day private, if you would like a particular coach, please write the name in the notes when booking (request fee ¥1,000 per hour, ¥5,000 for 5 hours, paid on the day). If not, the school assigns a Japanese coach who teaches in English or Chinese and holds an examiner qualification.教练就是检定员——课程中改进的要点，直接反映在检定评分上。2天中文课程由荒井教练担任。
1天私人课程如有希望的教练，请于预约时在备注栏填写教练姓名（指名费每小时1,000日元，5小时共5,000日元，当天支付）。如无指定，由学校从能用英语・中文授课并具有检定员资格的日本教练中安排。

No need to wait for a fixed test date. Practise in the morning, take the test in the afternoon, and get your result the same day.不必配合固定的检定日。上午练习，下午受检，当天得知结果。

Book the English / Chinese 1-day private lesson (4 hours) the day before, and write “practice for the test on [date]” in the notes.请一并预约前一天的「英语・中文 1日私人课程（4小时）」，并在备注栏填写「为◯月◯日的检定做练习」。
* Depending on examiner availability we may not be able to take your preferred day; we will then contact you to change the date or cancel free of charge.
* If snow or weather make a safe test impossible, we may run the lesson only (no test fee then).
* If you would like a particular coach, write the name in the notes when booking (request fee ¥1,000 per hour, ¥5,000 in total, paid on the day). If not, the school assigns your coach.

* Course / lesson fees are paid online when you book. Test and certification fees are paid in cash on the day.
* Certification fee (only if you pass): G1 ¥3,300 / G2 ¥2,500 / G3 ¥2,000 / G4 ¥1,500 / G5 ¥1,200. Grade 1 also needs ¥8,000 SAJ registration.
* Grade 2 needs one more examiner, so it costs more than Grade 3.
* The 1-day private price includes the fee for an English/Chinese-speaking examiner coach. Requesting a particular coach costs an extra ¥5,000 (cash, on the day). Grades 2 and 1 need a second examiner, so they cost more.
* Lift tickets, rental, lunch and insurance are not included. No refund if you do not pass.※课程费于预约时在线支付，检定费与认证费于当天以现金支付。

06. From booking to your result06. 从预约到合格发表
- Book online在线预约Choose your course (and for the 1-day private, your grade and language) and pay by card.选择课程（1天私人课程还需选择级别与语言），并以信用卡支付。
- Enter every test taker’s details填写每位受检者的信息Using the details you enter in the booking form (name in passport spelling, date of birth, nationality, level, etc.), our staff prepare the test documents in advance.学校工作人员会根据您在预约表单中填写的信息（护照姓名、出生日期、国籍、水平等），事先准备检定所需的资料。
- Confirmation email确认邮件We check your booking and send a confirmation email.本校确认后，将寄送预约确认邮件。
- Check in at Bldg. 6于6号馆报到Pay the test fee (¥3,000 per person, cash) at check-in.报到时以现金支付检定费（每人3,000日元）。
- Test and results检定与合格发表Results the same day. If you pass, pay the certification fee in cash.当天公布结果。合格者请以现金支付认证费。

Which course should I choose?我该选择哪个课程？
If you can join on the set dates in March and prefer Chinese, the 2-day course. If you want to choose your own day, use English, or take Grade 1, the 1-day private.如能配合3月的固定日期并希望以中文上课，请选2天课程。如想自选日期、希望用英语上课或受检1级，请选1天私人课程。
Which grade should I take?应该考几级？
Grade 3: parallel turns on gentle slopes. Grade 2: parallel turns on various slopes. Grade 1: stable skiing on intermediate to steep slopes. If unsure, email us your current level.3级：能在缓坡上以平行式转弯滑行。2级：能在各种雪道上以平行式转弯滑行。1级：能在中・陡斜面上稳定滑行。不确定时，请把目前的水平以邮件告诉我们。
Can I take Grade 3 and then Grade 2?可以先考3级再考2级吗？
Yes. The Grade 2 course runs the week after the Grade 3 course. Please book each course separately.可以。2级课程在3级课程的下一周举办，请分别预约。
Can I snowboard?可以用单板参加吗？
No. These courses are for skiing only.不可以。本课程仅限双板滑雪。
What do I enter when booking?预约时需要填写什么？
For every test taker: name (as in passport), date of birth, nationality, where you are staying in Japan, skiing experience and current SAJ grade (if any). Our staff use it to prepare the test documents.每位受检者的姓名（与护照一致）、出生日期、国籍、在日本的住宿地点、滑雪经验与已取得的SAJ级别（如有）。学校工作人员会据此事先准备检定资料。
Are lift tickets and rental included?含缆车票和租借吗？
No. Please buy your lift ticket in advance. Ski rental is available.不含。请事先购买缆车票。可以租借滑雪用具。
What if I do not pass?不合格怎么办？
Tests are judged against the SAJ standard. Course and test fees are not refunded if you do not pass.检定依据SAJ标准判定。不合格时，课程费与检定费不退还。
Can I choose my coach for the 1-day private?1天私人课程可以指定教练吗？
Yes. Write the coach’s name in the notes when booking. A request fee of ¥1,000 per hour (¥5,000 for 5 hours) is paid in cash at the ski school reception on the day. If you have no preference, the school assigns your coach. Depending on schedules we may not be able to arrange your request; we will contact you if so.可以。请于预约时在备注栏填写教练姓名。指名费每小时1,000日元（5小时共5,000日元），于当天在滑雪学校柜台以现金支付。如无指定，由学校安排教练。视出勤状况可能无法安排，届时我们会与您联系。
